WHY PEER COMMUNITIES

Peer Communities enable Y staff to connect with peers throughout the Y Movement. In Peer Communities, participants are able to discuss emerging practices, troubleshoot common challenges, learn innovative approaches and inspire collaboration. Peer Communities can create spaces for continued growth where staff of similar passions can explore trends and gain support. Peer Communities will be organized and led by local Y staff that are leaders in their functional areas and the Peer Community structure will be supported by the TN Alliance of YMCAs.
