Virtual Training Opportunities
Virtual classes and webinars are a great way to strengthen your professional development in an accessible way.
LinkedIn Learning
LinkedIn Learning is an online educational platform that helps you discover and develop business, technology-related, and creative skills through expert-led course videos. With over 5,000 online courses, you can tailor the learning to your needs. Y-USA has partnered with local Association to offer access to LinkedIn learning for free! Questions about accessing LinkedIn Learning? Contact your Association's Training Liaison.
Note: LinkedIn Learnings can count as Y-USA-approved credits with a minimum 40-hour duration.
Mental Health First Aid Training
Mental Health First Aid is an online 8-hour training to teach participants how to help someone who is developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis. The evidence behind the program demonstrates that it helps trainees identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illness and substance use disorders.
With facilitation support from Find Hope Franklin and Franklin First United Methodist Church, this nationally certified course is being offered through the YMCA of Middle Tennessee for $50 per participant. The 8-hour online training includes two hours of online pre-work and six hours of live training via Zoom. Learn more here.
